LensRentals.com - A Great Experience and a Discount!

With the right equipment and instruction, you can make images like this too
This photo was taken with a 200mm f/2L IS from LensRentals.com

Since I did my first review of LensRentals.com in 2009 as part of my Lens Rental Series, I've been a huge fan of their fast and friendly service.

The affordable rental rate allows me to rent specialty lens like the 400mm f/2.8 that I used for my famous Let the eyes tell the story image, and the 200mm f/2L IS shown above. It is much more practical to rent instead of own expensive lenses like these and the crazy expensive dream lenses like the 200-400mm, 11-24mm, or Zeiss Otus 55mm or Otus 85mm. In my case this really hit home when my dream 400mm f/2.8L IS lens was replaced a few years later with the version II model - I was so glad I rented instead of buying!!!
